Does my child need to be potty trained to join the program?

Children do not need to be potty trained to join, though it is certainly helpful! Due to the nature of an outdoor program, we do not have the facilities for safe and hygienic diapering. We encourage “forest pees” for little ones who are ready, and are there to assist in this process. Parents are encouraged to pack an extra pair of pants in a plastic bag for kiddos who are still getting the hang of it.

Educators model safe and hygienic practices and will remind and give little ones hand sanitizer after going to the bathroom, before and after eating, after any coughs or sneezes, and before touching shared play or learning items.
