What should my child wear to Forest Friends?

While it depends on the weather and season, multiple loose-fitting layers and a light rain jacket are always a wonderful choice for keeping little ones comfortable in the forest. Sturdy close-toed foot wear, either hiking boots or insulated rain boots, are the best footwear for navigating the forest floor.

During the colder months, wool or fleece sweaters, long underwear, and a puffer coat help keep the little ones comfortable in our cool, wet climate. Waterproof rain pants and outer coat are necessary to keep dry as we learn and play.
